Eligibility and qualification
You need one of these qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing Generic (four years) with valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) registration, or
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with valid PNC registration.
The posts are open to women and female transgender candidates with a Punjab domicile. Graduates of government institutions are given preference. Reports of the advertisement say that a candidate who applied to PNC for registration on or before the closing date can still be considered, provided she can show stamped proof of the application date.
Age limit
The advertisement prints the upper limit as 36 years for women, which already includes the general relaxation allowed by the Punjab government. Specially abled candidates get further relaxation under PPSC rules. If you are close to the limit, confirm with PPSC on 042-111-988-722 before applying, because being over age by even one day makes a candidate ineligible.
Selection process
According to the advertisement, each post is filled through a single written MCQ test of 100 marks and 90 minutes, with questions based on the required qualification, followed by an interview. PPSC publishes test schedules only on its own website, so ignore dates shared on social media. Our guide to spotting fake job advertisements explains why.
